What Windows 7 Means to Me

I have heard much hype about Windows 7, especially the overwhelming positive reviews coming from Windows haters. Why the change of heart now? Better said, what was so wrong with Windows XP?
Windows 7 seems to be the promised land to all users, and yet the interface appears to be a throwback to XP itself.
Why?
Why?
Why?
I realize that this is such a short post, but until I hear the definitive truth about what Windows 7 can do for me and you, it is best said in only a few short words… if it isn’t broke, why fix XP?
